Skill Development Programme
R.K.K. College is committed to strengthening vocational and skill-based education in alignment with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) and national initiatives such as the Skill India Mission (SIM). The College strives to equip students with industry-relevant skills, enhance employability, and foster entrepreneurship through innovative and inclusive skill development programmes.
The institution focuses on identifying high-impact skills and sectors relevant to local, national, and global needs. It aims to ensure accessibility through affordable fee structures and provide skill-based opportunities for all sections of society, including women. Skill areas such as teaching, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, beauty and wellness, driving, and other vocational domains are encouraged.
R.K.K. College promotes practical, hands-on training through short-duration and modular programmes delivered in on-campus, off-campus, blended, and online modes. The College supports full mobility between formal education, vocational streams, and the job market through multiple entry and exit opportunities.
The College intends to collaborate with government agencies, industry partners, educational institutions, and skill development organizations to implement skill development schemes offered by the Central and State Governments. It also seeks to establish partnerships for vocational training, internships, apprenticeships, and placement support.
Recognizing the importance of teacher preparedness, the institution encourages faculty training and capacity-building initiatives under the concept of “Train the Teachers.” The College also values recognition of prior learning and seeks to create pathways for lifelong learning and career advancement.
